About Us

Matt Elliott is an attorney licensed to practice law in the state and federal courts in Alabama. He is an associate attorney for Wilmer & Lee, P.A., headquartered in Huntsville, Alabama. Matt enjoys a diverse practice assisting clients with real property issues, probate administrations, and litigation, with a focus on appellate representation. Matt is an Alabama native and prior to becoming an attorney, served as a paramedic in his home community for over nine years.

He and his wife attended the University of Alabama School of Law, where he graduated with honors. Following law school, Matt served as a federal law clerk to a United States District Judge for over two years. Upon completing his clerkship term, Matt moved back home to practice law with a focus on appellate litigation. In 2021, Matt’s peers in the bar nominated him and voted for him as a Best Lawyers, “Ones to Watch” for Commercial Litigation.
